For dinners on Friday and Saturday nights it is advisable to book.
If you don't wish to drive there are vineyard shuttle services to transfer you to and from restaurants and events. Rates are reasonable.
If you are self catering it is advisable to organise your food supplies before arrival. Cessnock has a good range of shops and supermarkets including Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Aldi. Most are open seven days a week.
Coles is open 6am till midnight Mon to Sat, 8am to 10pm on Sun. Woolworths is open 7am till 10pm every day. There is also a General Store on Broke Road in Pokolbin. It is open seven days a week from 8 am to 6 pm.

In your cottage there is a complimentary copy of The Visitors’ Guide and the Dining Out and Cellar Door Guides detailing restaurants, attractions and activities such as hot air ballooning, bus and horse carriage tours, flights over Pokolbin and much more.
